June 2022 : We are turning 09 years
Allow me to pay homage to all the people who contributed towards building the CLUB
- 2013Gabriel Xirahambhawula De Jr. assisted me to start a team at Sh*tlhelani Village, without his help it would have been difficult to build it from far, he understood the vision and still check up to find out how things are going.
Zakes Nhlamulo Bila designed the first logo of which had since been changed twice.
1st Coach - MIKATEKO BILA (brother to Zakes) : current owner of Prosper FC and later became the first Team Manager of PFC bringing in the youngest coach who use to give older teams a hard time.
2nd Coach - MANGANYI Jnr - he still remain the youngest coach to have led PFC, producing players and goalkeepers who were later taken by teams that were playing in the SAB when the team relocated to Mavambe.
3rd Coach Oom-Dan Dan Tsakani Nghonyama who introduce carpet soccer -Shoe shine and piano and it became the signature of PFC
2015/16 -Morgen Herald Hlabani assisted me in establishing a team at Mavambe village after talking to and Melton
He has partly coached the team, and be a Team Manager, Scout, Caretaker and made the team run. He is the longest serving Team Manager of PFC
4th Coach -SPOKO Manganyi -THE ONLY COACH TO WIN A TROPHY AT PHYLIMAK FC
5th Coach -Dr Wisani Mathive Mkhacwa - the first coach to win a tournament trophy (1) and take the team to position 2 (mini league-4 teams) and the first coach to go with the team to SAB (Safa Vhembe after buying a status (we finished last)
He was assisted by Tinyiko Nkanyane who is now responsible for scouting, and organising players to participate in trials.
Phylimak FC -Junior Team -Under 17 was established during Wisani’s era which is coached by Mandla Mitimi II who is the first player to be promoted to Coaching role with the guidance of Wisani. Currently Co-coach, Assistant Team Manager and Responsible for facilitating training all teams.
Wisani came up with the nickname which will stick with us for ages to come.
Wisani was the first person to occupy the Technical Director of PFC -All coaches were reporting to him.
6th Coach : Bazela Ledyo Lehaa Nyonga recently appointed and was reporting to the Tech Director, a post which is now vacant.
Now we have under 15 which I asked Mandla Mitimi II to establish, and are now becoming a formidable team
We also have a first PFC Photographer Masa Mafulawa who is responsible for the media desk.
There are many players who avail their service beyond just being players, washing the kit, carrying the nets and marking the soccer field or cleaning the soccer field for U15, it’s just humbling.
There are people assisting with transport, sometimes for free, including coaches (Former and current) for the benefit of the team.
It would be a dis-service not to publicly thanks ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED PEOPLE for their contribution in making the Club to be what it is, all sacrifices, all efforts and all things they have done for the team. It’s a collective effort and I am heartily grateful.
To all the players who played for PFC since 2013 until now, without you there wouldn’t be a team. I appreciate you for choosing and sticking around even in bad times. TO PLAYERS WHO LEFT, NO HARD FEELINGS❤️💚🤍🖤
To the communities of Sh*tlhelani and Mavambe, words aren’t sufficient enough to thank you for the welcome, support, and the not so nice words cause they make us stronger.
To the Facebook supporters and followers, thank you so much for choosing to follow us.
To the LFA since 2013 in Thulamela until now in Collins Chabane, to SAFA VHEMBE and all teams who reached out for support or guidance, Thank you.
Leading PFC as a WOMAN and being far has been a great challenge, it’s a men sport and one has to constantly assert herself, take hard decisions some of which may not be pleasing to all but that’s part of leading.
I VALUE ALL EQUALLY AND WOULD CONTINUE WITH THE DREAM TO MAKE A TEAM THST CHANGE LIVES.
09 years of ups and down but we soldier on. BRICK BY BRICK we are building
❤️💚🤍🖤
