The SAFA NMM Superstart Weekend is buzzing with activity as the competitions department, under the leadership of Mr. CK Shuping, hosts a crucial clubs meeting today. This meeting focuses on presenting amendments to the uniform rules and regulations governing the Hollywood Regional League, aiming to enhance clarity and compliance among participating clubs.

During the session, Regional Executive Officer Mr. WK Tsieco took the opportunity to connect with the clubs, expressing his unwavering commitment to providing assistance whenever needed. His presence underscores the support framework available to clubs, fostering a collaborative environment for growth and improvement.

The event was further elevated by the attendance of the Regional President, who shared a motivational message with the clubs. His words of encouragement were aimed at inspiring club representatives to actively engage in the upcoming season and to embrace the changes being proposed. This gathering not only serves as a platform for important discussions but also strengthens the community ties within the league, reinforcing the shared goal of promoting football in the region.

SAFA NMM Referees Workshop - Day 2

The second day of the SAFA Ngaka Modiri Molema Referees Workshop, dedicated to physical activity and fitness training, proved to be a resounding success. Participants engaged in a variety of exercises and drills designed to enhance their physical conditioning and on-field performance.

The instructors, experienced professionals in the field, closely monitored the progress and provided constructive feedback throughout the day.

Their positive evaluations reflected the hard work and dedication of the referees, culminating in an encouraging announcement: the region has received the green light to officially kick off the game.

SAFA NMM Referees Workshop - Day 1 Recap

Under the leadership of Hon. President David Molwantwa, SAFA Ngaka Modiri Molema successfully launched the first day of the NMM Referees Workshop at North West University Mafikeng Campus. The event attracted a strong turnout from local football association referees, fostering a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

Instructors Mrs. M. Montsho and Mr. L. Mojafi, alongside distinguished guests PSL referee Mr. T. Nojila and Match Commissioner Dr. Asong, set an inspiring tone for the workshop.

Newly recruited referees showed great enthusiasm, actively engaging and participating throughout the sessions.

Looking ahead, Day 2 will be held at Mmabatho Stadium, where Mr. L. Mojafi will lead fitness training and physical activities.

This workshop reflects SAFA NMM's commitment to referee development, with a particular emphasis on empowering women referees.

SAFA Ngaka Modiri Molema Heritage Tournament: A Celebration of Football and Heritage!

On the 21st and 22nd of September 2024, SAFA Ngaka Modiri Molema will make history with its inaugural Heritage Tournament! In a showcase of local football talent and community spirit, 16 teams will battle it out at the NWU Mafikeng Campus, where four sports grounds will come alive with simultaneous clashes to determine the top 4 teams.

These top contenders will move on to the semi-finals on the 22nd of September at the Montshioa Artificial Turf, where the stakes will be higher than ever.

Proudly sponsored by Tselakgopo Holdings and House of Convenience from Mafikeng, this exciting event promises to be a highlight of the football calendar. Prizes include:

- 1st Place: R16,000, a new soccer kit, a prestigious trophy, and gold medals.
