Westcoast Warriors is pleased to announce an association with the Weskus Marine Academy (WMA). The WMA is a non-profit body established to undertake marine research, support aquatic activities on the lagoon, and provide coaching and training for swimming, sailing and paddling sports. We look forward to working with the WMA and assisting where and when we can.

Great day out at the Frosty Friday Island Winter Solstice 1.6km Open Water Swim! Congratulations to all the swimmers for braving the cold and embracing the challenge!

We had great weather conditions for the race!

Thank you to Strandloper and to Friday Island for the treats before and after the race, and to NSRI, Dries and all the paddlers who were supporting the swimmers during the event, and to the volunteers (Adele, Rob, Sally, Peter and Liz) for helping at registration and the finish.

ENTRIES ARE CLOSING !!!!
Entries for the Frosty Friday Island Swim on Sunday 21st June will be closing on Wednesday17th. We have close to 100 swimmers braving the chilly waters and sharing in the camaraderie of the Winter Solstice swim. We will not be able to accept further entries after Wed, so if you want to join the fun get your entry in now.
