Welcome to the Team!

Brandon, born and raised in the beautiful city of Gqeberha. He loves being outdoors and is an absolute sports fanatic. He’s competed in a fair share of triathlons and running events but plenty more on the horizon!

Areas of interest: Being a runner himself, he loves working with runners and helping them realise the importance of strength training and helping them stay injury free and achieving those PB's!

Fun fact: Supposedly he has a pretty neat party trick, he can read people's minds. But dont worry, he says he doesn’t use it at work.

2025 - That’s a wrap!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their continued support throughout the year. As the year draws to a close, we would like to highlight some truly outstanding achievements.

One of the year’s standout performances came from Mholi Jali, who delivered an exceptional run at the Comrades Marathon, finishing sub-6 hours and securing an impressive 40th position overall. He followed this up with a dominant victory at the Umzila Tambo Marathon, crossing the line in a blistering 2:24. These results are a testament to the tremendous work Mholi has put in, both on and off the road. His dedication, combined with close collaboration with one of our Biokineticists, Holly, to remain injury-free, has allowed him to consistently perform at the highest level.
Byron also had the privilege of working with Varsity College during their 2025 Varsity Shield campaign. After finishing second last year, expectations were high—and the team delivered. Varsity College went on to win the Varsity Shield, becoming the first KZN-based side to achieve this remarkable achievement. This victory also secured them automatic promotion to the Varsity Cup in 2026.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of these journeys, and all the others that walked through our doors. We look forward to building on this success, continuing our journeys together in the year ahead.

Congratulations to one of our Biokineticists, Holly Prior, who participated in the South African International Challenge Endurance Race over the weekend. Holly placed 11th in her division and team KZN took home 2nd.

Our team is expanding!

We are excited to welcome new recruit, Holly, to our Biokinetics Team.

Holly graduated from Stellenbosch University in the Western Cape and completed her internship at the Sharks Rugby Union. Enchanted by KZN, Holly has chosen to stay and work in La Lucia.

Holly fills her weekends with endurance horse riding, hockey and running. She firmly believes the best part of a run is the coffee afterwards.
