OFFICIAL NAME CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT
Re: The Macambini Heritage Soccer Tournament is now the SFM Community Cup U17 Edition
We hereby announce that the football tournament formerly known as the Macambini Heritage Soccer Tournament has been officially renamed the SFM Community Cup U17 Edition.
The tournament will take place on 26 September 2026 at Magic Sportsgrounds.
While the name has changed, our commitment to youth development, community upliftment, and sporting excellence remains unchanged. The SFM Community Cup U17 Edition will continue to provide a platform for Under-17 football teams in ward 2, Mandeni to showcase their talent.
In keeping with the values of the Sphamandla Mthethwa Foundation — We Care, We Love, We Play — the event will also feature the handover of 5 SMF Love Bags to 5 families prior to kickoff.
Further details regarding team registration, fixtures, and prize breakdowns will be communicated in due course.
