Kuruman Running Club is a club which was formed in November 2017 by a group of young, energetic and punctual team players who are very passionate about running and fully committed to healthy lifestyle and physical fitness at large.

FROM THE TAR TO THE TIDES! 🏃‍♂️💨 ➡️ 🌊🌴

The kilometers are logged, the medals are secured, and the 2026 Comrades Marathon is officially in the history books!

Our Kuruman Running Club athletes left every ounce of strength on the road from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Today, we trade our running shoes for flip-flops and the hard tar for the soft sand.

A massive shoutout to our incredible supporters! You were our fuel at every secondary checkpoint, your voices kept us moving when our legs wanted to quit, and today, you celebrate with us.

Time to rest, recover, and let the ocean heal those sore muscles. Kuruman, we brought it home! 🥇🇿🇦

Yellow and black, we went, we saw, and we brought back the bling! 🟡⚫

Yesterday, our relentless Kuruman Running Club athletes took on the 99th Comrades Marathon—the ultimate human race. Facing 85.77 km of relentless brutal climbs from Durban to Pietermaritzburg, our runners embodied the official race spirit: Ska Fela Moya – Don't Give Up!

From our brave novices earning their very first back-to-back medals to our veteran giants crushing the infamous hills, you have made the whole of Kuruman and the Northern Cape incredibly proud! Your months of cold morning kilometers and lonely road miles paid off at the Hollywoodbets Scottsville Racecourse.

While we celebrate the medals today, our hearts are completely full of admiration for our Kuruman Running Club athletes who took on the 99th Comrades Marathon but did not make the final cut-off gun.
