The safety of every runner is our highest priority. Following the heartbreaking incident in Kempton Park, we urge all members to stay vigilant and to avoid running alone.

We strongly encourage all KRC members to join our official weekly club runs for all training.

Running together makes us more visible, allows us to protect each other, and creates a much safer environment for everyone.

The dangers on our roads are real. No single training session is worth risking your life.

Today as Kuruman Running Club we honor not just a runner, but a symbol of perseverance, discipline and triumph - Bakang Monchonyane.

Bakang crossed the finish line of the grueling 42.2km of Rand Water Vaal River City Marathon with a time of 2H48. This is not only merely statistic, it is a testament to months of preparation, countless hours of training, and an unshakeable willpower.

Bakang's achievement is about inspiration and showing us that greatness is not reserved for the few but for those who dare to dream and commit themselves fully.
