As the year rolls to a close, we’re readying to down tools for a few weeks and fit in some perfect rides of our own. Final orders will be shipped 12 December and the factory is closed from 20 December 2024 until 13 January 2025.

Gravel is in a constant state of change and recently we’ve seen the size of tyres for racing blow out to MTB widths and rims are widening out to accommodate. These photos are a couple years old, showing our XC rims on a drop bar 29er build as well as our GX rims on a ‘standard’ gravel build.
Touring bikes have long benefitted from wider tyres and now we are seeing them come to racing as well.
Is our XC rim, with its proven 28mm inner width, 370g weight and legendary reliability the perfect rim for gravel tyres from 45mm and up?

As tyres sizes are growing so is our belief that this is true.

The year feels like it is going by in a blur some days. The factory is busy, emails pile up and riding feels like a distant memory. Then somehow, a gap in the schedule appears and the next perfect ride manifests itself out of nowhere.
The route works out perfectly and there’s an ice cold beer waiting in the fridge that you sink as the last rays of the day fall over the horizon.
You wake up wondering if it was a dream but the dull ache on your legs confirms that indeed, it happened. You get up, and head back to another busy day in the factory, where is our thing.
