Took clients out to shoot geese at Voel Vlei area. Bag limit was filled in 30 min. 4 clients all got their full bag on Egyptian and Spurwing not many places in South Africa can offer such shooting consistently .

I have 2 slots open for the second shoot of the season for Geese at Voelvlei the 4th December afternoon shoot from 16h00 to Sunset. Cost R750 pp. Let me know who's keen. We only take a max of 5 guns.

The crow rotary has proven its worth. It has proved to be very effective on crows . And even deadlier on Pigeons we do not allow shooting over it for pigeons as we believe it not to be sporty.

The Western Cape bird shooting season only really gets starting from 15 November when the farmers are in full swing harvesting their crops which a tracks large flocks of Geese and pigeons.
I had the privilege to take a few Englishmen to shoot a few rock pigeons while they were in SA shooting the ICTSF English sporting and World Sport trap Championships last week . I must give them credit these boys can shoot. Many of them have shot pigeons in Argentina and all agree that our rock pigeons are more sporty to shoot and that with our numbers and challenge in shooting them rate as one of their best bird shooting experiences and to top it off our local beer also added to the experience.

Saturday morning took 3 clients on a walk up for Guinea Fowl . Nothing nicer than a Crisp sunny winters morning. Birds were in abundance but challenging to shoot . The wheat needs to grow another 10 cm covering the birds heads thus not allowing them to see the dogs approaching. After the walk up we took the clients to a feed loft to shoot a few rock pigeons .
