To Cap or Not to Cap? 🏊‍♀️

The debate over swim caps is endless, and there is no single right answer!

However, wearing a cap offers some great benefits:

- Comfort: Keeps hair out of eyes and mouths.

- Hygiene: Prevents loose hair from floating into the water.

- Water Quality: Keeps hair products out of the pool, reducing the need for harsh chemicals.

- Warmth: Silicone caps help retain body heat in cooler water.

- Security: Helps hold goggles firmly in place.

Ultimately, swim caps make for a much cleaner and more comfortable swimming environment.

Tips for Kids: Children often dislike wearing them.
Try explaining that a swim cap is just standard safety gear, exactly like a mouth guard or shin guards in other sports.

Our Policy: While I am not strictly enforcing swim caps right now, please consider adding one to your child's swim kit for future lessons.

Buying Guide: Silicone caps are highly recommended for durability and comfort.

To ensure the safety, modesty, and comfort of all children during our swimming lessons, we require all students to wear appropriate swim clothing.

Our instructors frequently provide hands-on guidance to support your child, correct their form, and keep them safe in the water.

Wearing the correct attire creates a comfortable environment for both the students and the instructors during these physical adjustments.Please ensure your child follows these clothing guidelines for every session:

*Girls* : One-piece swimsuits only. Bikinis and b**b tube style costumes are strictly prohibited.

*Boys* : Standard swim trunks. If your child chooses to wear swim shorts, they must also wear a rash vest.

Dear parents and guardians

Please ensure your child arrives 10 minutes before their swimming lesson starts.

Arriving on time prevents your child from feeling rushed and anxious, ensures the current class isn't disrupted, and allows us to maximize the full 30-minute structured lesson without delays.

Here is a quick breakdown of why this is so important for the kids:

Your Child's Comfort: Rushing to the water makes children feel uneasy. Arriving 10 minutes early allows them to get settled and mentally prepared for a fun, stress-free lesson

Zero Class Interruptions: When a child arrives late, the entire class must pause so I can explain what needs to be done to the new student. This breaks the momentum for everyone in the pool.

Sticking to the Schedule: Our lessons are carefully structured into 30-minute intervals. When we are delayed, we aren't able to focus on everything that the swimmers need to practice and learn.

The safety, health, and well-being of our children are our top priorities.

In an effort to maintain a strictly child-friendly and hazard-free environment, we would like to issue an important reminder regarding our facility's smoking and va**ng rules

Please be advised that smoking and va**ng are strictly prohibited in the swimming pool area and on the immediate pool deck.*
Second-hand smoke poses serious health risks to developing lungs and can trigger asthma or respiratory issues in young children.

Furthermore, eliminating open flames and ignition sources is a vital part of our water-safety and facility-management policies.

If you need to smoke, we kindly request that you step completely off the premises to do so.

We thank you for your understanding, your cooperation, and for helping us keep our children safe and healthy.
