Our team recently visited Legend Golf & Safari Resort in South Africa to play the Signature Course and take on the Extreme 19th, a par 3 you can only reach by helicopter. Here's what agents need to know before booking a client.

The resort combines championship golf with a genuine Big Five safari on the same property, so your clients can play in the morning and be on a game drive by afternoon. No transfer day needed.

Minimum stay is 2 nights, 3 recommended. For a fuller golf and safari combination, 5 to 7 nights split between the resort and a safari lodge works well.

If a client wants the Extreme 19th, book it early as places are limited each year.

The Ascot Tours team recently spent a night at the President Hotel in Bantry Bay, Cape Town to experience the rooms, service and activities our clients can expect.

Our stay included cocktails and pizza by the heated pool on arrival, followed by a sensory gin tasting. After some time to relax, we ended the evening with a three-course dinner paired with a w**e tasting.

The hotel offers more than accommodation, with Presidential Suites, two restaurants, a bar, a heated pool and activities for guests to enjoy.

Its location also works well for clients who want to explore Cape Town, with the Sea Point Promenade within walking distance.

It is also an option for families, with plenty to do both at the hotel and around Cape Town.

We experienced it first-hand, and the President Hotel is a property we would recommend to our travel agent partners when planning Cape Town itineraries.

🎥 30 years. One fridge. A trophy that came down to the very last b**r.

Last week we celebrated Ascot Tours' 30th birthday with the first ever South African outing of the Chris 'Fridge' McAlpine Trophy at De Zalze Golf Club, followed by an unforgettable evening at Vredenheim W**e Farm.

Springboks versus All Blacks bragging rights were on the line, the golf came down to just two points, and the fridge had the final say.

Spoiler alert, New Zealand walked away with the win, an anthem, and a haka that shook the room.
