What style of Yoga do I teach?
It's not a straight forward question for me
The practice becomes like a tapestry, growing and changing colors, absorbing new textures, as I grow and change and learn.
I was taught a the Bangalore ashram of Swami Vivekananda, then studied Bihar style of yoga as taught by Satyananda and from there on, the practice became part of my daily life. Through the many years of practice, self-study and teaching, I have soaked in other styles of yoga as well as additional practices such as Qigong, Meridian healing, and Somatics.
I would say the style of yoga is integrated and does not follow one set way of "doing" yoga; rather is guided by "being yoga" because the state of oneness we discover through our practice arises spontaneously when we are relaxed and present and merged with the moment.
