Somewhere along the way, we forget that a bride has often dreamed of this day for years.

She has imagined the walk down the aisle, the flowers, the dress, the laughter, and the moment she gets to say, “I do.” The groom has dreamed of it too—of standing beside the person he loves and beginning a new chapter together.

So, if a timeline runs late, if the wind catches the veil, if a flower falls out of place or the cake isn’t picture-perfect, let it be.

While our roads experienced some overflow, we are grateful to report that all is well at Portland, and the water is slowly beginning to recede.
