ATTENTION: WORLD RUGBY LEVEL 2 COACHING COURSE - KNYSNA

Dear Sir / Madam

The following WR L2 Coaching 15’s Coaching Course for November 2023 have been confirmed:

VENUE: TENNIS CLUB HOUSE, LOERIE PARK, GEORGE REX DRIVE, KNYSNA
WHEN: SATURDAY & SUNDAY 25 & 26 NOVEMBER 2023

The above courses will be conducted over two (2) days/sessions. An open invitation is hereby extended to aspiring WR L2 coaches to attend.
Pre-course information
1. Aspiring participants must also complete the registration form and return it to [email protected] and [email protected]; - Registration forms can be requested.
2. All attendees must also complete the following required online tests on passport.world.rugby prior to entering the course. Please use your own personal e-mail address to register:
- Rugby Ready
- Rugby Laws
- First Aid in Rugby
- Concussion Management
- Introduction to Coaching
- Key Factor Analysis
- Functional Role Analysis
- Coaching Children
- S & C Pre-level 1 Children
- S & C Pre-level 1 Youth
- S & C Pre-level 1 Adult
- Keep Rugby Clean (Protect the Game)

Proof of the completed online tests must be sent to [email protected] by no Later than the Thursday leading up to the course.

A provisional attendance list will be drawn up once proof of onlines tests and registration forms have been received.

3. Attendees must be dressed appropriately for practical sessions throughout the course.

4. Attendees must please bring their own snacks with.

Why is it important to be cleared for exercise by a doctor?
It is extremely important to ensure that a patient has sufficient cardio-respiratory functioning as these organs can be affected.

What can be expected?
A full clinical examination, an ECG as well as blood work to exclude any cardiac issues.

Once cleared for exercise to resume, the graduated Return to Sport involves 6 stages which should be monitored by a Physiotherapist or Biokineticist.
