Congrats on a very long journey to joining the Barney Army 🟪🟪🟪

Fir those of you who don’t know the story of Knysna Titans MMA:

6 years ago, as a white belt, Dwayne moved to Knysna and wanted a place to train. Nobody who had any experience wanted to help so he decided to make is own gym.

He was ridiculed and laughed at. How dare a nothing white belt try and start his own gym? But he did it anyways. After some time the laughing turned to whispers about this strange white belt coach out in Garden Route whose students started picking up medals at the competitions.

Those who laughed started asking if they could hitch their wagon to KT Dojo and everything Dwayne built. They were turned away.

Today that nothing white belt earned his purple under Coach Warren Allison.

Dwayne,
This is a win for everyone that refuses to take no for an answer.

This is a win for everyone that who finds a way.

This is a win for everyone who doesn’t back down from a challenge.

This is a win for everyone who find value in adversity.

This is a win for everyone who will give their last shirt off their back for someone else and never ask for anything in return.

This is a win for the best friend, brother, father, coach, therapist, and hardest worker anyone could ever ask for.

The road ahead is long,but rather the long hard road, than the short easy one. Thank you for everything you have done for me and the gym, brothers in arms, training partners and a legend of a godfather.
