Easy-to-follow, beginner-friendly dances

This is a 4-week introduction to line dancing

Join our 4-week Beginner Sokkie course, where we’ll teach you the basics step by step, help you feel confident on the dance floor, and get you moving again after the holidays.

No experience needed. Come as you are — we’ve got partners and assistants to help.

After a lot of reflection, growth, and change, we’re excited to share that Dance2Dance International is becoming Level Up Dance Studio.

Dance2Dance holds a special place in our hearts — it’s where so much began, where friendships were formed, and where countless hours were spent learning, growing, and dancing together. We honour that history and everything it gave us.

But seasons change — and this next one is about fresh energy, renewed focus, and intentional growth.

Level Up Dance Studio represents what we believe in:
✔ growing as dancers and as people
✔ showing up for each other
✔ raising the standard — in our studio and beyond
✔ and choosing to keep moving forward, no matter what

We’re still the same passionate team, the same love for dance — just with clearer structure, bigger plans, and exciting new things on the way.

While everyone else was busy studying for or marking exams, we were having a blast on the competition floor yesterday!
We had two brand-new competitors step onto the floor after just a few weeks of lessons - now that’s the kind of attitude that takes you far! From Sokkie to Latin and ballroom to competition in a matter of weeks… Keira and Tayla, we can’t wait to see where this journey goes next!

Alain wasn’t well, so Matthew stepped in as partner — and he did brilliantly, proving he’s learned from the best 😉
Huge thanks to Donna for the photos, the water runs, and towelling Matthew down between sections — true team spirit!

What a fantastic few weeks on the dance floor! 💃🕺
Our 6-week Beginners Sokkie Course wrapped up this week — so proud of everyone for how far they’ve come! Even those who missed the last class made incredible progress, learning new steps, having fun, and gaining confidence every week. 🙌

And a big shoutout to our Intermediate Diamonds for mastering some seriously impressive moves (and surviving a few knots along the way 😄).

Next up: Intermediate Spades, then Clubs and Hearts before we start the whole Sokkie deck again ♠️♥️♣️♦️

We’ve had to move our social from Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon — same fun, just a new time! 🌞

Get ready for a sparkling afternoon of Sokkie, Latin, Ballroom, and a sprinkle of Line Dancing!
Bring your friends, your best dance moves, and dress in your favorite mix of casual denim & dazzling diamonds ✨

🔥 We’ll have braai fires ready!
We’ll provide the fires, tea, coffee, ice, glasses, and some snacks & soft drinks.
You just bring your braai meat, sides, and maybe a few snacks to share if you like!

🌟 Highlights:

- Mini sokkie crash course for any newbies
- Fun line dances taught on the day
- Prizes for best dressed (and a few surprise ones too!)
