Bill kicked off his Springbuck Slam in spectacular fashion with a beautiful Copper Springbuck!

Preparation is often the difference between success and disappointment, and Bill came to Africa ready. He brought two exceptionally accurate rifles and spent plenty of time on the range before his trip, becoming completely familiar with both setups.

That preparation paid off when we spotted this ram and used the opportunity as the Springbuck moved around us. At approximately 450 yards, Bill made a superb shot, dropping the ram cleanly with a single round.

A fantastic start to the slam and a trophy any hunter would be proud to take home. Congratulations, Bill!

Another step closer to completing the Spiral Slam!

Bill added an outstanding Eland bull to his trophy list after making a solid shot at a modest 250 yards. This bull marks another important milestone in his African hunting journey and brings him one species closer to finishing the coveted Spiral Slam.

Before arriving in South Africa, Bill spent plenty of time on the range getting comfortable with his two “new” rifle setups. That preparation has paid off throughout the hunt, and his confidence behind the rifle is showing with every opportunity.

Congratulations, Bill, on a fantastic Eland and another memorable African safari success!

Two years ago, Tom had an opportunity to tag a Nyala, but the odds weren’t in his favor. The shot was long, and with buffalo on the agenda, he was carrying a .375—hardly the ideal setup for a cautious spiral-horn.

This time, Tom came prepared with his trusted .30-06, and when another mature Nyala presented itself, he made the opportunity count. One well-placed shot later, the dream of taking a beautiful South African Nyala became a reality.

Congratulations, Tom, on a well-earned trophy and a successful return to unfinished business!

When it comes to mountain hunting in South Africa, few animals command as much respect as the mighty Eland.

Tom had spoken about hunting an Eland long before arriving in the Eastern Cape, and this hunt quickly became a top priority. We headed into the mountains early, searching for these legendary “mountain dwellers” and covering plenty of rugged country along the way.

After locating a mature lone bull, a combination of patience, bushcraft, and a little bit of luck allowed us to close the distance and create an opportunity. When the moment arrived, Tom made it count with an excellent shot on a truly impressive bull.

The Eland is Africa’s largest antelope and one of the most rewarding trophies a hunter can pursue. Congratulations, Tom, on a memorable mountain hunt and a well-earned bull!

Eric is on an absolute roll!

After taking an exceptional Steenbuck trophy that would be difficult to top, This Vaal Rhebuck is a truly special animal for the area we hunt, and we’re especially pleased that this mature ram had the opportunity to pass on his genetics for years to come.

Vaal Rhebuck are known for their incredible eyesight, sharp senses, and their ability to spot danger long before hunters spot them. Hunting these mountain ghosts often requires patience, persistence, and confidence in making longer shots when the opportunity finally presents itself.

Congratulations to Eric on another fantastic Eastern Cape trophy.

Eric had a list of smaller species on his wish list for this safari, and Mountain Reedbuck was high on that list.

The day started with excitement as Tom took a beautiful Black Wildebeest bull in the early morning mist. After celebrating the success and enjoying an early lunch, we headed back out to scout new areas.

As the afternoon unfolded, we spotted a great old Mountain Reedbuck ram feeding on the slopes. A careful approach and steady shooting sticks gave Eric the opportunity he had been waiting for.

When the moment came, Eric made it count with an exceptionally well-placed shot, bringing a fantastic old ram to hand and adding another memorable trophy to an incredible South African hunting adventure.

The Eastern Cape continues to deliver unforgettable experiences and world-class hunting opportunities

Dreaming of hunting Africa? This is exactly the kind of adventure that brings hunters from around the world to the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

After a successful day in the field for Eric, it was Tom’s turn to pursue one of Africa’s most unique and challenging plains game species—the Black Wildebeest.

The morning greeted us with thick mountain mist and limited visibility. As we climbed higher, conditions became even tougher, but that’s what makes an authentic African safari so rewarding. When four mature bulls were finally spotted, we wasted no time putting a plan together.

Using the terrain and fog to our advantage, we closed the distance on a cautious stalk. When the opportunity presented itself, Tom settled in behind his trusted .30-06 and made a perfect shot on this outstanding Black Wildebeest bull.

From mountain hunts to unforgettable trophies, the Eastern Cape offers a truly unique safari experience.
