🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ SCHOOL BUS RUN 2026 — WHAT A DAY! 🎉
What an incredible weekend at the School Bus Run 2026! From the first starting Bell to the final finishers crossing the line, it was a fantastic celebration of road running and community spirit. 🙌

With 5km, 10km and 21.1km distances, there was something for everyone — and the energy throughout the event was truly amazing!

🏆 A huge congratulations to our winner, Arthur Jantjies! 🎉

Athur once again showed why he is one of South Africa’s outstanding road runners. Congratulations on a fantastic performance — and on your incredible achievement of winning the 2026 Two Oceans Ultra Marathon! 👏🔥 It was a privilage to have you in our mids.

Kimberley Road Runners would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Zamani Saul and the Office of the Premier for their continued support of, and commitment to, the road-running community.

Your contribution and commitment to our sport help us grow from strength to strength, creating opportunities for runners of all levels and helping build a stronger running community in Kimberley.

We are especially proud that the School Bus Run forms part of the build-up to the prestigious Diamonds & Dorings Kimberley Big Hole Marathon, contributing to the excitement and momentum leading up to one of Kimberley’s premier road-running events. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

For some runners, this medal will be an important part of their marathon training block — another step towards achieving their goals. For others, it may simply be the first step on a journey that leads to many more races and proud achievements.

Every journey starts with a single step, and we are proud to take that step together with our running community.

We as Teemaneng Running Club would like to wish our sister Club Kimberley Road Runners well as they continue with preparations to host the inaugural School Bus Run this coming Saturday!
We hope each learner, parent & athlete who will be participating in this race feels a deep sense of pride in joining an event that connects schools & our communities through the power of running.
