Update on current Silvercup 2.0 standings:
5th in overall championship.
1st overall in class championship

Really do race for the best and most well organized club there is run by Marius, SPS racing and The Car Care Clinic team!

In other news, we had a super day on Sunday at Zwartkops Supertrax where I managed to get two heats in, 1 with Rory from Watts and Water Wise Metering and another with Dominique from BSM Solutions. Well that was the good news, with the car running on rails and screaming like you have slammed your thumb In the door as per usual

Start of a 3rd session with Dominique in the car we started to hear some not so Leka noises!
Something in the clutch assembly has decided to leave the chat and the car is not happy.

But in true style, this will be fixed asap with prep work to pull the motor and gearbox out again this weekend for the FOURTH time this year! Part of the game hey……..!

Atleast my Ballie from High On Spares sorted me with a new, quiet and strong Bosch 044 high flow fuel pump so the whining is no more!

While this is being done and repaired the head of the motor is getting some upgrades and as usual will be dialed in by “Prof” Andre Larsson from Enviro Aire for that dynamite touch when it hits the rollers at Marius from Full Boost performance.

Onto the next race on the 26th of September at Zwartkops!

Zwartkops 10/11 July 2026.

2nd place overall

Qualifying on Friday went ok-ish, plenty traffic trying to get a clean lap in.

Heat 1.
Had a super good start with a great battle with Karel Stols in his extremely neat and fast Toyota 20V powered Etios up until lap 4.
Had gear selector failure where I could only race using 3rd and 5th gear. Nonetheless ended 2nd in class with Karel taking a very well deserved win.

Heat 2.
We got the car fixed in no time and had all gears working again.
Unfortunately due to the class before us, we had massive oil spills all around the track making racing lines very difficult to follow.

Had a good race with JP in his class c golf, that made most part of the heat proper fun and close.

Ended heat 2 in 2nd place.
