FBI Flyball Team SA FBI is a South African Flyball Team, based at Birchacres Dog Training Club, with over 14 competing dogs at the moment, FBI is the oldest competing club in SA.

Teamwork, Fun and Sportsmanship are what we are all about!

Aaaand another demo! 🐾

This time we had the privilege of introducing flyball to the learners at Maranatha Christian School, and what an unforgettable morning it was!

The excitement, laughter, and enthusiasm from the kids made the day incredibly special. Watching their faces light up as they learned about flyball and cheered on the dogs was an absolute highlight for all of us. The dogs loved every minute of the attention, and it's safe to say we may have inspired a few future flyball enthusiasts!

A huge thank you to the school for inviting us and for the warm welcome. We were truly touched by the thoughtful gifts and generosity shown to our team and to the mom who sponsored the dogs pup cups– your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the demo a success, and especially to the wonderful learners who made the morning so much fun. We had an amazing time sharing our sport with you and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

🐾 SUNDAY FUNDAY! 🐾

What an incredible day of flyball fun at Birch Acres Dog Training Club!

A fundraising fun day was held in support of raising funds for an EJS system for flyball, and the event was wonderfully attended by flyball enthusiasts, supporters, handlers, and of course, some very enthusiastic dogs!

The atmosphere was fantastic, with both dogs and humans having an absolute blast throughout the day. From exciting races to plenty of laughs, it was a wonderful reminder of what makes our flyball community so special.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our beginner dogs take to the lanes. These up-and-coming stars, who are not yet competing in teams, were given the opportunity to experience the game in a show setting. They rose to the occasion beautifully, showing confidence, enthusiasm, and plenty of potential for the future.

A huge congratulations to all the beginner dogs and their handlers—you were absolutely amazing and made us incredibly proud! 💚

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported the fundraising efforts, and helped make the day such a success. Together we are helping to grow the sport and invest in its future.

A huge thank you to the Labrador Retriever Club for hosting a fantastic day of racing! And to BADTC for use of their amazing grounds! The weather played along, the dogs brought their A-game, and the racing was fast, close, and incredibly exciting.

🏆 FBI SPECIAL OPS stormed their way to 2nd Place with a stunning best time of 17.84 seconds!

It was wonderful to see a mix of our experienced campaigners and newer dogs taking to the lanes together. The combination made for some fantastic racing, great team spirit, and plenty of fun throughout the day.

So much has been happening lately... shew, it's time for a catch-up! 🐾🎾

Last weekend, FBI Flyball and members of Muttley Crew Flyball took part in a fantastic demo at the Fun Day hosted by Libradene Security Village.

What an incredible day it was! The dogs were absolutely amazing, showing off their speed, enthusiasm, and teamwork, while both the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed the action-packed demonstrations. The excitement didn't stop there—we wrapped up the day with a fun-filled human vs. dog race, which was a huge hit with the kids!

To make things even more special, three lucky youngsters were awarded trophies for their lightning-fast runs and enthusiastic participation. 🏆

A huge thank you to Dorea Fischer for organizing such a wonderful event and giving us the opportunity to share our passion for flyball with the community. Your hard work and dedication made the day a great success.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, cheer on the dogs, and join in the fun. We loved every minute of it and can't wait to do it again!

What a fantastic Flyball weekend! 🎾🐾

The weekend kicked off with a wonderful Flyball demonstration on Saturday, giving us the opportunity to showcase our amazing sport and share our passion with spectators.

Today, FBI and Muttley Crew Flyball came together for a fun-filled Funday, raising funds for the EJS while enjoying everything we love about Flyball – great dogs, great people, and plenty of racing action!

We were treated to some incredible performances from our beginner dogs, who showed confidence, enthusiasm, and huge potential. Watching these up-and-coming stars gain experience and grow in confidence was a highlight of the weekend.

The Fast Pairs competition delivered plenty of excitement, with some lightning-fast runs and close finishes keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. Our Singles racers also put on a spectacular show, proving that speed and determination come in all shapes and sizes.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, supported, and cheered from the sidelines. Special thanks to Montego for their continued support, and to every individual that generously sponsored prizes and trophies. Thank you to Janet Fabian for taking some amazing photos! Your contributions helped make the weekend even more special and gave our competitors something extra to race for!

Weekends like these remind us why the Flyball community is so special—coming together to support a great cause while celebrating our incredible dogs and handlers.

What an unforgettable Nationals weekend for FBI Flyball!
A massive congratulations to FBI Special Ops for being crowned KUSA Nationals 2026 Champions with a blistering winning time of 16.99 seconds! 🚀🐾

We are also incredibly proud of our other teams:

🥉 FBI Bulletproof – 3rd Place Overall

🏅 FBI Access Denied – 4th Place Overall

To have three FBI teams finish in the Top 4 at Nationals is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and passion of our handlers and dogs.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible sponsors for their continued support, to the judges and officials who ensured a fair and successful event, and to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make Nationals possible.

We would also like to congratulate and thank our fellow flyball clubs, Muttley Crew Flyball and Furrytails, for a fantastic weekend of racing, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

To every handler, dog, box loader, supporter, and family member who cheered from the sidelines, travelled long distances, and gave their all this weekend—thank you. These achievements belong to all of us.
