Good morning

Admin’s been very slack again. Sorry folks, I’ll get the last series of event photos loaded asap. Its not one of our regular roles we are able to fulfil so if anyone is keen to become our dedicated taker of photos every (most) week/s please shout.

Great fun had with the Dis-Chem activation Crew this weekend.

Just a heads up, one of the lanes at South Gate (entrance and exit sides) are currently closed off for maintenance. Please allow for extra time to get inti the Estate, alternatively you can make use of North Gate.

Sorry folks, the course is flooded in places and is a no go for today. The event has been cancelled, can only hope the Whetherman has it right for later today and tomorrow so it can dry out enough for Monday

Good Morning parkrunners,

We are holding thumbs that the weather gives us a break today so we can go ahead tomorrow. We not making any early calls so please be sure to check either the Serengeti Estate parkrun webpage or parkrun app for cancellation before coming through. The course is going to be a bit rough around the edges and not likely to be the best of days to try for a PB.

Looking ahead to Monday we are all systems go for the April 27th Freedom Day parkrun. All the normal rules will apply including 08:00 start time.

Good morning

Our course is a no-go and is unsafe from the sustained rain yesterday and overnight. We have unfortunately had to cancel for safety reasons

Good evening

Its been raining through the day at Serengeti Estate so the course is quite wet. We going to wait until the morning to see what the course is like between 06:30 and 07:00 before making the call to go ahead or cancel. Please check the Serengeti Estate parkrun page or the parkrun app for cancellation before coming through, I will also post here if we have to cancel by 07:00. No news is good news, that means we will be going ahead🙏🏻
