Seven athletes. One club. One proud Gladness family. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

Gladness Athletics Club proudly represented at the 2026 LIMA Cross Country Championships (2026 Limpopo Athletics Cross Country Provincial Championships), held on Saturday, 15 August 2026, at Tom Naude High School, Polokwane.

Our seven athletes stepped onto the challenging cross-country course with determination, courage and commitment. Throughout the competition, they gave their best and showed the value of hard work, discipline and dedication in training.

Every athlete ran with passion and represented Gladness Athletics Club with pride and honour. Their performances were a true reflection of the fighting spirit that continues to drive the club forward. 💪🏾🔥

The journey does not end here. Athletes who are selected by Limpopo Athletics will have the honour of representing Limpopo Province at the National Championships in September 2026. 🇿🇦🏆

This gives our athletes even more reason to remain focused, disciplined and determined as they continue their journey.

🏃🏾‍♂️🔥 MUTSHIDZI MBEDZI: GLADNESS ATHLETICS CLUB’S YOUNG STAR TAKES ON LIMPOPO’S BEST!

Gladness Athletics Club’s young talent Mutshidzi Mbedzi from Ha-Mashau represented the club with determination at the 2026 Limpopo Athletics Cross Country Provincial Championships.

Saturday, 15 August 2026, during the 2026 Limpopo Athletics Cross Country Provincial Championships, Gladness Athletics Club Superstar Mutshidzi Mbedzi delivered a brilliant performance. 🔥
Competing in the Boys U14 4KM race, Mutshidzi gave his best and crossed the finish line in an impressive 10th position among some of Limpopo’s talented young athletes. 🏃🏾‍♂️

His performance is a reflection of his hard work, commitment, and growing passion for cross country. At just 14 years old, Mutshidzi is gaining valuable experience at provincial level and continuing to develop his talent with every race.

Finishing 10th at a provincial championship is an achievement to be proud of. This is another important step in Mutshidzi’s journey, and we believe there are many more great performances ahead. 💪🏾🔥

🥈🔥 MASANA RAMADI WINS SILVER AT LIMPOPO PROVINCIALS! 🏃🏾‍♀️🏆

A brilliant performance by Gladness Athletics Club Superstar Masana Ramadi at the 2026 Limpopo Athletics Cross Country Provincial Championships! It was on Saturday, 15 August 2026.

Masana proudly finished 2nd in the Girls U16 4KM race, earning a well-deserved silver medal. 🥈🔥

Her hard work, determination and fighting spirit were on full display. What a proud moment for Masana and the entire Gladness Athletics Club family! 👏🏾

Ronewa proudly secured an impressive 2nd position in the U20 Women’s 6KM race, earning a well-deserved podium finish. 🥈🏆

Her performance showed determination, strength, discipline and the fighting spirit that continues to make her one of Gladness Athletics Club’s brightest young stars.
