Dear Zumba Family of Linden,
For the past 15 years, many of you have been far more than members of a fitness class. You have been part of a community, a support system, a source of laughter, friendship, encouragement, and countless memories that I will treasure forever.
Some of you have been dancing with me from the very beginning. Through different seasons of life, celebrations, challenges, milestones, and changes, we have shown up together week after week. What started as a Zumba class became so much more than that.
Today, I write this letter with a heart that is both full and emotional.
After much thought, I have decided that this season of teaching EVENING classes has come to an end for me.
This decision has not been an easy one. Teaching has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and every class, every song, every smile across the room has meant more to me than you could ever know. Your loyalty, support, and friendship have carried me through many years, and I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you.
But life has a way of reminding us what matters most.
My boys are no longer little boys. They are teenagers, and I am becoming increasingly aware of how quickly this precious season is passing. The evenings that I spend teaching are evenings I can never get back, and my heart is telling me that it is time to be present for them in a way that I haven't been able to while balancing everything else.
This is not a goodbye born out of unhappiness or exhaustion alone. It is a goodbye born out of choosing family and embracing a new chapter of life.
Please know that this decision takes nothing away from what we have shared together. In fact, it is because of what we have shared that this is so difficult to write.
Thank you for every class attended, every dance, every laugh, every word of encouragement, and every moment of support over the years. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey. Thank you for allowing me to be part of yours.
I will leave with a heart overflowing with gratitude and memories that I will carry forever.
While this chapter may be closing, the impact each of you has had on my life will remain.
