Pirates Road Running Club (PRRC), based in Greenside, takes pride in having the reputation of being the most social Johannesburg-based running club. PRRC caters for all ages and different levels of fitness. From social walkers to short/middle distance runners, to half-marathon, marathon and ultra-marathon runners. Come along and join in:

Tuesday Time Trial - 17h45
Pirates Bowls Club (8km or 5km)

Thursday Club Run - 17h45 (17h30 in Winter)
Main Club Parking (10-15km)

Sunday Club Run - 06h30 (07h00 in Winter)
Main Club Parking (10-21km)

**PARKING** for Pirates 10k - Joburg's Fastest 10k. It's countdown to Sunday so make sure you are prepared. A handful of entries are still available at https://bit.ly/2026Pirates10k You will receive an email this week with more information.
🏴‍☠️Please note the main gate to Pirates Club in Braeside Road will be CLOSED.
🏴‍☠️Please consider ridesharing, Uber or Bolt to make your life easier
🏴‍☠️Limited parking at Pirates Club which can only be accessed via Victory Road.
🏴‍☠️Secure parking is available at Greenside High School on Geers Road, Greenside for FREE. Please tip our guards if you'd like to.
🏴‍☠️ Do not park on pavements within the suburb or block any residential or public access as your car will be towed by JMPD.

Nearly time for the Pirates 10k - Joburg's Fastest 10k on 13 September. There's still a handful of entries available at https://bit.ly/2026Pirates10k ALL ENTRANTS will receive an email by Friday this week with everything you need to know to make sure you have the most awesome race with Pirates.

🏴‍☠️Race number collection takes place in the Old Bones Bar at Pirates Club, 25 Braeside Road in Greenside on:
- Friday 11 September between 12h00 and 17h00
- Saturday 12 September between 09h00 and 15h00
- Sunday 13 September between 05h00 to 06h30
🏴‍☠️Collection is in the Pirates main clubhouse, where you will be able to collect your number and t-shirt if you have purchased or qualified for an early-bird entry one.
🏴‍☠️If you are collecting on someone’s behalf, you will need to bring with you:
- A signed letter from the entrant stating the name and ID number of the person collecting the entry.
- A copy of the ID or passport of the person you are collecting for.
🏴‍☠️Substitution cost is R50 at registration, please bring along:
- A letter from the original entrant with their contact details, stating the name and ID number of the person taking over the entry
- A copy of the ID or passport of the person taking over the entry.
🏴‍☠️There will be NO SUBSTITUTIONS ON SUNDAY 13 September
