WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS
True leadership is not measured by how many people are beneath you, but by how many people become better because you were there.
Sometimes, we make the mistake of thinking that another person’s success reduces our own. It doesn’t. Someone else’s promotion does not cancel yours. Someone else’s victory does not make you a loser. Someone else’s opportunity does not mean your opportunity has disappeared.
Great leaders understand that we rise by lifting others.
When you share knowledge, open doors, encourage someone, recommend a talented person, celebrate another person’s achievement, or simply stand with someone during a difficult season, you are contributing to something bigger than yourself.
Think about a ladder: you don't climb it by destroying the steps behind you. You climb because the steps support your progress.
A leader who creates other leaders creates a legacy.
A leader who celebrates others creates a healthy team.
A leader who helps others grow eventually finds themselves surrounded by capable people who can also lift them.
So, don't be threatened by the success of people around you. Celebrate them. Support them. Teach them. Recommend them. Give them room to grow.
And when someone on your team wins, don't ask, “What about me?”
Ask, “How can we make this win bigger?”
Because the greatest leaders don't just reach the top alone.
They take people with them.
WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS.
