We are privileged to be able to assist both Bokang and Matteo in their schooling careers. This is the first ever football Scholarship offered at King Edward VII School. We look to take these moments to greater heights.

Good luck to both Scholars this year as things may not be the same as it was before don't let that stop you from excelling through education and sport.

We will be here for you every step of the way.

We are so excited to start the Jacoba Strenue Bursary Fund with King Edward VII School. This is the first ever soccer bursary at King Edward VII School. 🏫

We look forward to helping many more boys through the education📚 system and adding a difference to their lives.

Good day

We realize this time has been extremely difficult for everyone and so we would like to take a moment to thank each person for their continued support. Your positive messages & words of encouragement have meant so much to our learners and coaches.

Businesses & charity organisations world wide are battling and we are no different. This is because of the COVID-19 pandemic as we are unable to work and have extremely limited funding. All of our programs have been shut down as we try flatten the curve collectively as a country.

As you all know Jacoba Academy uses football as it’s engine to drive social development and was started to help the previously disadvantaged youth. All of our coaching staff have come from underprivileged households and we have trained them extensively to help better their lives & give them a steady income.

Since the lockdown we have had no money coming in, we are trying our best to support our coaching staff as well as continue to do our feeding scheme that feeds hundreds of people every week that are less fortunate.

We have started a back a buddy campaign and are pleading that everyone who can possibly donate anything as little as R50 upwards to help. All money raised will pay our coaching staff as well as support our initiative with Meals on Wheels.

Jacoba assisting as many people as they can during this time by giving back to those in need. Jacoba Academy and Meals on wheels working together to feed the people of Hillbrow.

Our soup line has tripled in a matter of days we are so grateful to be doing the work we do.
