Matthew. What a ride. What a magnificent ride!

A course that spoke to you. A course that delivered exactly what you needed: enough climbing, enough technical, and enough opportunity to let that power shine. You dominated those trails, powered your way forward and finished inside the Top 10!

You gave every ounce of yourself at the Cycle Lab Schools MTB Schools Finals, and you did it in pure, incredible and beautiful Matthew style.

Just magnificent!

What a way to close out the season. We are ridiculously proud of you!

Training? Tick.
Racing? Tick.
Putting his mind to it? 150%. Tick, tick, tick.
Knowing when to back off? …Absolutely not.

Incredible trail support from his amazing family, This boy gives every ride everything he’s got. Head down, legs turning, determination switched firmly to full power. A whole lot of hungry for trails and the chase packed with that Pitty energy that keeps him pushing with passion.

That’s our Ruan. Never back off. Never give up. Just keep pedalling as fast as he can. Next adventure… bring it on!

What a season!! 🚀🔥

The Pocket Rocket put in every ounce of effort, determination and heart to close off the Cycle Lab Schools MTB at Monument. What a way to finish the season! And him and Christian? Well… they definitely kept the racing interesting! Wheel to wheel, pushing each other, and giving us plenty to watch right until the very end.

So proud of Thomas and everything he’s put into the season.

Now we take a breath… and get ready for the next adventure!

Caught in the act 😂. The sunrise is spectacular from two wheels, early morning sessions have resumed after school holidays. Time to escape four walls for laughter, chatting, connecting and colourful skies.

The dust has settled. The trails have compacted and the riders have recovered from an amazing day at TAROKO TRAIL PARK. A HUGE thank you to all the moms, dads, grannies, grandads, aunties, uncles and friends who have stood behind our riders throughout this incredible season.

Your early mornings, support from the sidelines, cheering, encouragement, lifts, bike washes, snack stops and endless belief in these young riders have meant more than you know.

Congratulations to every single participant who showed up, lined up, pushed through, learned, grew and gave it their all.

Whether it was your first race, a personal best, a tough day on the trails or simply the courage to keep going , you should be incredibly proud.

What a phenomenal season it has been!

And now… we turn our eyes to the next challenge. NEXT UP… NATIONALS!

Bring on the trails, the racing, the nerves, the excitement and everything that comes with representing your team and your province.

Let’s finish this season with everything we’ve got!

TAROKO TRAIL PARK was buzzing with excitement as the Gauteng Schools Cycling event number 5 flooded the trails with the dedicated and determined riders. Wind, cold and dark clouds weren’t going to stop these superheroes! They showed up ready to dig deep, putting in every pedal stroke and taking on this fantastic course with determination, grit and plenty of heart.

The conditions may have tested them, but these riders proved once again that the toughest days often create the strongest memories.

Ride hard. Ride proud. Never stop chasing that next pedal stroke. Thank you for your passion!
