Dear Dorey Swim Center Swimmers, moms and dads,

Due to the increase in Covid numbers, it has been advised that we close our doors from the Monday 5th July to Saturday 10 July.

We will reassess the situation next week Sunday with a follow up.

We are so excited to have our squad back at training after 4 months of lockdown! All social distancing measures are in place with taped out waiting areas and distancing chairs for each swimmer. Our coaches are all masked up and happy to be back poolside.

3 of the Dorey's kids did this programme last weekend and really enjoyed it. It's only R300 for 3 days! The next course starts this Thursday & runs from 30 April - 2nd May. This program includes: �3x1 hour online sessions with swimming champion mentors: Michelle Weber, Martin Binedell and Erin Gallagher.� The kids get sent a workbook and daily links to Zoom classes. 3 of the kids from Dorey's just completed this online course and can highly recommend it.

It's only R300 for a 3 day course run by great mentors - all swimming champions. The kids get a workbook and it covers daily intention setting, how their language affects their mental state, how to look for motivation, reflection on the previous year and season, goal setting, goal achieving and critical lessons on creating a strong mental attitude around their swimming. Gives them something to work on while they can't be in the pool.

Dear Swimmers and Parents,

SSA and Aquatics Gauteng confirm that Levels 3 & 2 will definitely be postponed. The entry fees will be held over for the galas in the future.

Swimming will continue at Doreys for those who wish come. Please pay attention to hygiene and contact requirements. Please keep the health of your fellow swimmers, coaches and parents in mind and avoid coming to swimming if you have been around anyone who has been travelling recently or has been sick. Hand sanitizer is available for all to use.

This could suddenly change and we will do our best to keep you informed.
