In February of 2010 after talks with Wanderers Basketball, The Academy made its second home at the Wanderers Sports club, with a clear mandate to re-establishing the interest in the game at our very junior age groups. Part of the mandate was to put in place an effective and sustainable management and development program that developed athletes from the tender age of six till they are eligible to r

epresent the club at youth level, which is seventeen or eighteen years old. in 2015 the academy moved its base of operation to the premises of the Redhill High School outdoor facilities in Sandton. The Academy in association with the Cooperate Basketball League-SA, Gauteng Basketball Association have developed a program that encompasses teaching the fundamentals of the game, instilling a sense and spirit of family among our kids, instilling discipline and respect for self and the next person, embracing the competitive nature of the game and teaching that although it is good win, there is no nothing wrong with loosing as long as we have given our best. The “Titans” is the name of the team that the kids at the academy play for in the various leagues and tournaments. They will play in three age groups under 10, under 14 and under 18. At under 10 and under 14 we normally mix both boys and girls but split them at the older age group. The kids are coached by two very capable and experienced coaches, who have a pooled wealth of knowledge spanning some 35 years. Martin Hoffman (Head of Coaching), Talal Al-Said ( Assistent Coach)
