Dear Lord,
I know we've had our ups and downs. There have been moments on my journey where my faith wavered and moments where it stood strong. Times I felt weak and times I felt unstoppable. Through it all, I just want to say thank you—for blessing me with family, friends, and this beautiful life in football.

This passion, this fire that burns inside me, is a testimony of Your spirit. There were moments when I thought walking away was the answer, but You kept guiding me back to where I truly belong—my home, the football field. Those who know me best understand this truth.
All glory goes to your Lord!

Eu sei que tivemos altos e baixos. Houve momentos na minha jornada em que minha fé foi fraca e outros em que foi forte. Momentos em que me senti fraco e outros em que me senti imparável. Mas, através de tudo isso, só quero agradecer por me abençoar com família, amigos e essa bela vida no futebol.

🇬🇧 In football just as in life, it's made up of a million different moments. Not all moments will be favorable for you. Some will be easier, and some will be more difficult. It's the desire to keep going even when things get tough. It's in reminding yourself consistently that the good and the bad will pass, so appreciate the good and learn from the not so good.

🇵🇹 No futebol, assim como na vida, é feito de milhões de momentos diferentes. Nem todos os momentos serão favoráveis para você. Alguns serão mais fáceis, e outros, mais difíceis. O importante é o desejo de continuar, mesmo quando as coisas ficam difíceis. É lembrar-se constantemente de que tanto os bons quanto os maus momentos passarão, então aprecie os bons e aprenda com os que não foram tão bons.

I'd like to give a massive shoutout to from Durban North for their inspiring generosity.
I was on my way home from a coaching session this morning and while on the way home I was juggling with the ball trying to see how far I can go without the ball dropping. Renier shouts,
"Hey man! Those moves deserve a burger and fries." How could I ever turn down such a selfless act of generosity nevermind the tastiest bacon & cheese burger with the nicest fries!!
It honestly just goes to show that what you reap is what you sow. Reap positivity even when it seems like all your chips are down.
I'm truly grateful not only for meeting such inspiring people but for this moment in time when God gives you confirmation that we all possess divine goodness and that we are defined by the habits we choose.

I’ve been nominated by my boetie to a 25 push-ups for 25 days challenge to hopefully raise awareness for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety and depression that drive people to commit su***de.

Today I Nominate my brother

The rules are simple:
*Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day.
*Everyday you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25
*Every day you must nominate a different person.
Let's reach as many people as possible.Let's hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness, you are not alone and we are here for you.
Don't be afraid to speak out!!!
