We had the most amazing surprise this morning from one of our incredible Little Champions! ❤️

It’s Essie’s Birthday today, and she decided she wanted a WRESTLING-THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY! 🤼‍♀️🎂🏆

And honestly… how absolutely adorable is this?! 😍

One of my favourite things as a coach is seeing just how much our Little Champions love wrestling — but knowing that they love it so much that they choose to have a wrestling-themed birthday party makes my heart so incredibly happy! 🥹❤️

It’s moments like these that remind me why we do what we do. Watching our little wrestlers find something they love, feel proud of it and make it part of their special moments is truly something amazing. 🌈🤼‍♀️

This past weekend, our very own Harlu stepped onto the wrestling mat for his very first tournament! 🤼‍♂️💪

And WOW, did he make us proud! ❤️

Walking onto that mat all by himself, with so much confidence, courage and determination, was truly something special to see. For your first tournament, Harlu, you did incredibly well! ⭐

We are so proud of you—not just for how you wrestled, but for having the bravery to step onto that mat and give it your all. That takes a true Little Champion! 🏆

While our Little Champions were enjoying a well-deserved holiday, Coach Lizzy was busy investing in something very important... becoming an even better coach for her wrestlers! 💪

I'm incredibly proud to share that I recently attended the United World Wrestling (UWW) Level 1 Coaching Course in Pretoria, where I successfully completed and passed the course.

This achievement means that I am now officially: 🏅 National Level 1 Wrestling Coach 🌍 United World Wrestling (UWW) Level 1 Certified Coach ⛑️ Certified First Aider 🤼‍♀️ Protea Wrestler

I firmly believe that learning never stops. As a coach, it's my responsibility to keep growing, learning, and developing so that I can provide the very best coaching experience for every child who steps onto our mats.

Every course I attend, every qualification I earn, and every skill I develop is not just for me—it's for our Little Champions. My goal has always been to create a safe, professional, fun, and inspiring environment where every wrestler has the opportunity to grow in confidence, skill, and character.

To all my amazing parents, thank you for trusting me with your children. Your support allows me to continue investing in my own development so that I can give even more back to every wrestler in our program.

Here's to continuing to learn, grow, and build the next generation of champions—both on and off the mat! 💛🏆

At Little Champions Wrestling, a medal is so much more than just a medal.

It represents the courage to step onto the mat. The determination to keep trying. The confidence to believe in yourself. The friendships made along the way. The laughter, the learning, and the memories that will last a lifetime. 💛

Every single wrestler who attended our Holiday Bootcamp earned their medal through their enthusiasm, perseverance, and willingness to give their very best. We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of our Little Champions.

Watching the excitement and pride on their faces as they received their medals was a reminder that success isn't only measured by winning—it's measured by growth, effort, and never giving up.

To our amazing Little Champions... Wear your medal with pride, because you earned it! 🏆✨

This is just the beginning of your journey, and we can't wait to see what you'll achieve next.

Three incredible days. Countless smiles. New friendships. New skills. And so many unforgettable memories. 💛

Our final day of the Little Champions Holiday Bootcamp was the perfect celebration of everything our wrestlers achieved throughout the week. From giving their all on the mat to encouraging one another and proudly showing off everything they had learned, every single child finished the Bootcamp as a champion.

The highlight of the day was seeing the excitement on their faces as they received their Little Champions Bootcamp Medal. 🥇 Every medal represented courage, hard work, perseverance, and the willingness to keep trying—qualities that make every one of these children a true champion.

To our incredible wrestlers... we are so proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for your enthusiasm, your laughter, and for making this first-ever Bootcamp such a huge success.

To our amazing parents... thank you for trusting us with your children and for supporting them every step of the way. Your encouragement means the world to us, and we are so grateful to have such an incredible Little Champions family. 💛

A special thank you to everyone who helped behind the scenes, our assistant coaches, and everyone who contributed to making these three days so memorable. We couldn't have done it without you.

This may be the end of our first Holiday Bootcamp... but it's only the beginning. We are already looking forward to the next one, and we can't wait to welcome even more little champions onto the mat!
