Fourways Gardens Estate 🎾 | Court Refurbishment

A proper revival of a well-used estate in Fourways.

This facility had reached the point where cracking, surface fatigue, and ageing fencing were impacting both play and appearance. NineCourts was brought in to restore it the right way.

Scope Delivered:
Full resurfacing of the existing tennis court – repairing cracks, stabilising the base, and rebuilding the playing surface.

Removal of old mesh fencing and installation of new LG mesh for a clean, durable finish

General site clean-up and structural touch-ups to bring the entire court back to standard

The result is a clean, true-playing surface with sharp line work, supported by a refreshed fencing system that completes the look and function of the space.

Sandhurst Project Update 🌱

With the structural groundwork complete, the installation phase took shape.

✔️ Chain link fencing fully installed and tensioned
✔️ Surface preparation completed
✔️ Premium multi sport Astro turf laid
✔️ Designed for heavy foot traffic and long term durability

This system features textured yarn technology and a bi colour grass finish, delivering a natural look with a hard wearing performance surface suitable for multiple sports and recreational use.

What do you do when a court reaches the end of its lifespan? You rebuild it properly.

🏗️ DAY 1 Before and Groundwork

This Sandhurst project involved transforming a cracked and worn hard court into a durable multi sport Astro turf facility, starting with the most important stage, the groundwork.

🏏⚽🏉 Keeping the game safe at Redhill School, Morningside!

With sports courts on all sides of the pavilion, stray balls were a real concern. Our ball-catching netting system was designed to stop balls in their tracks — protecting players, spectators, and the pavilion itself.

The build started with structure—but the magic’s in the detail. Bubble & Freak’s new Fourways store began to take shape with bold hues, textured finishes, and layout choices that reflect the energy of every shake and tea.

From pastel pinks to statement walls, this was the stage where vision turned vivid.
