⚽💙 2026 Season Kick-Off | Friendly Matches 💙⚽
Bantwana FC would like to sincerely thank Dynasty Ladies Football Club for hosting us today at Davidsonville Soccer Stadium, alongside Professor Ladies from Soweto, for our first friendly matches of the 2026 season.
These games gave our development players, returning seniors, and newly signed players their first competitive minutes of the year — a valuable opportunity for growth, assessment, and building cohesion as we prepare for the season ahead. As coaches, it allowed us to evaluate progress and identify key development areas moving forward.
The day was played in excellent spirit on and off the field, reflecting the true heart of women and girls’ grassroots football. It stands as a powerful testament to the growth of the game in communities like Davidsonville, Soweto, Westbury, Riverlea and beyond.
Special appreciation to committed football leaders and officials such as Gerard Loggenberg of Dynasty Ladies, whose dedication continues to open doors and create meaningful opportunities for young women in football.
