The Boks’ kicking game to regain and score is next level — precision from the boot, relentless chasers winning the aerial battles, and a hunger for every scrap of possession. For the first time ever, SA Rugby has announced an Under-16 Elite Player Development squad for girls, joining the boys from the same age group for a camp in Paarl early next month, in what is another huge boost for the local women’s game.

I had the incredible privilege of returning to my alma mater as a guest speaker. Back in my school days, we were never capped, but last night I was given that honor—making it an emotional and truly special occasion.

My talk was built around the theme “Dare to Dream”, with three key takeaways I believe are essential for growth:
1️⃣ Have a clear vision.
2️⃣ Get into the room—and stay in the room.
3️⃣ Never, ever give up. Resilience matters.

It was a dream to go back and share positivity at the very place that helped shape me. I’m always reminded of a mentor’s words: “When the lift reaches the top, send it back down.”

Grateful. Inspired. Blessed. 🙏
