Today our school celebrated the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven. Mary, Queen assumed into heaven is our school's patroness as we belong to the congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Assumption. Feast day blessings to all who learn, teach and serve in Maryvale College. We thank His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Brislin for being our presider at Holy Mass. We thank the concelebrants: Fr Vusi and the Comboni Missionaries. We give special gratitude to Fr Simon Donnelly, our school parish priest for his presence and charitable help to us.
