💡My pro tip for taking notes in your English meeting is to write down CONTENT WORDS

⚡️There is no way you will be able to write full sentences or catch all those little bits in between⏱️ Let prepositions, articles, auxiliary verbs and pronouns go out the window when you are listening in a meeting because they aren’t so important. 🪟

⚡️Remember that these content words are often emphasized/ stressed by the speaker and the other function words are kind of swallowed (they can be hard to hear especially when the person is a native English speaker).

⚡️So give it a go! Take a look at this sentence and comment on what the content words are:

📌Our annual budget meeting needs to be postponed to next week because the sales department are finalizing their reports.
