The best part of a wilderness hike?

Sitting around the campfire under a sky packed with stars, listening to the silence and remembering that people have been doing exactly this for thousands of years. 🔥✨

Next weekend, we’re heading into one of the most remote corners of the Makhonjwas.

Lufafa.

No crowds. No cellphone signal. Just mountains, wilderness, a remote foot-of-the-mountain camp and the kind of night sky you don’t get to see every day.

It’s not too late to join us.

Come find your wild. Book now.

🇸🇿 THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO STOP SAYING “ONE DAY”

Because 17–18 October is getting closer, and there are still a few places left on the SummitX Eswatini 3-in-1.

This isn't just three summits.

It's a full weekend of mountains, wildlife, adventure and Eswatini.

⛰️ 3 mountain summits
🥾 A spectacular day on the trails, including the hidden old tunnel between Ex*****on Rock and Sheba's Breast
🦓 Wildlife encounters at Mlilwane
🌄 Big mountain views and wild landscapes
🍻 And after a day on the mountain, we're heading out to Malandela's to relax, eat, drink and soak up some Eswatini atmosphere.

It's the kind of weekend where you leave home on Friday thinking you're going hiking…

…and come home Sunday with a head full of mountains, wildlife, stories and probably a few tired legs.

17–18 OCTOBER 2026 🇸🇿

And here's the bit you shouldn't ignore:

We're running out of time to fill this trip.

If you've been watching the posts, thinking “That looks incredible”…

this is the point where you stop watching and start packing.

Eswatini is waiting.
Are you coming?

There is an old tunnel hidden in these mountains.

And we're going through it.

On 17 October, we'll connect two legendary Eswatini summits by a route few people ever get to experience.

Ex*****on Rock.
Sheba's Breast.
An old mountain tunnel.
18km of wild Eswatini terrain.

A journey through mountains, history and hidden places.

The kind of adventure that makes you wonder what else these mountains are keeping secret.

Are you coming? 🇸🇿⛰️

A Wilderness Weekend to Remember 🦅⛰️

This past weekend marked another successful visit to the Vulture Colony near Leboeng — a place that has become incredibly special to us.

There’s something about returning here that always feels like a homecoming, especially when we are reunited with the Marabes. Their warmth and hospitality make every visit memorable.

This weekend was extra special. Not only did our visit coincide with International Vulture Awareness Day, giving us the opportunity to celebrate and learn more about these magnificent and often misunderstood birds, but our group also got to watch the Springboks take on New Zealand from one of the most spectacular settings imaginable.

Who said wilderness camping means giving up the finer things in life? 😉

If anything, the wilderness seems to enhance them. Good company, wild landscapes, a campfire, a great game of rugby and the feeling of being far away from the everyday world.

And to top it all off, Sunday morning brought us a delicious brunch before we reluctantly packed up and headed home.

If you haven't experienced this hike yet, perhaps it's time to change that. 🦅

Get in touch for dates for our next Vulture Colony adventure.
