Proof of life... been a while since I last posted. Just been slowly working on myself but more internally lately.

Protecting my peace. Setting boundaries.

But feeling much better so the past few weeks I've been back to focusing on some physical aspects again. Can already see the bloat leaving my face so back on the right track.

I am worthy of love. I've literally screamed those words out several times these past couple of years. Its insane to feel you have to scream that at your own mother. And it's heartbreaking to have to scream that at a spouse. Today I literally woke up surrounded in a cloud hanging over my house on the cliffs of Joburg. I'd blame this weather for my mood today but to tell this truth I started feeling down yesterday. It's hard when the very people that are meant to uplift you are the ones that bring you down the most. It's a long and slow healing journey I am on. I still hear their words echo in my head... I don't find you attractive anymore. You don't look like you used to. You really need to dress better. How can you live like this. And so it goes on...

But I have a feeling I'm not the only one carrying these scars. Just one quick look around social media and it will make most normal folks feel unworthy. But I'm here to remind myself and anyone else that needs to hear it today. We ARE worthy of love. Keep loving you. Keep working on your own inner dialog. Don't give others the power to bring you down. Keep on making good choices for you. Keep being kind. And keep moving forward.

Change doesn't happen overnight. It's one foot in front of the other.

Instead of sitting here today thinking about how far away I am from my goals. For me its my Financial Debt. My lapse in Health. And my unfinished Home. But instead I will try to remind myself how much I have overcome this past year. How brave I have been. And how much I have progressed already.

I am worthy of love. And I need to be shouting those words at myself.

We've got this!

Happy Valentines day for me... received my USN supplements.

Found that my new primary workout opportunity is in the evening... so going to try the QHUSH stimulant free pre-workout.

Most missed product the past couple months... must say it's my morning L-Carnicut and Weightloss Collagen. Happy to have those again.

It's not about killing yourself on day 1 or even week 1 and then burning out or feeling overwhelmed. It's about all those small changes and building on that progress to keep pushing forward. Day after day. Week after week. Good habits form through consistency.

Day 1 felt great. Excited for Day 2.

You know you've found somewhere special when you go for a weekend of camping, it rains 70% of your stay, and you have such an incredible time. I have always believed that life has too many adventures to offer to return to the same place. But literally the day we arrived back. Me and my son looked at each other and both were like " Can we go back tomorrow". We've already planned for another trip. Derrick was a fabulous host and the dogs added an extra special touch guiding our mountain walk and making us feel extra safe at night sleeping by our side.

The property itself offers days of exploring. Refreshing dips in the pool and just perfect path lighting at night. Safe. Calm. Just a gem. The perfect balance of camping experiences but amenities to make it that touch easier. Warm shower. Private toilet. Electricity. Was provided a wifi password but chose to not use it. Was beautiful to off-line for a while and just enjoy our surroundings. Live in the moment more.

The location is unbeatable. So much to do. Lion and Safari. Elephant sanctuary. And next time we hope to do the Cable car and hot air balloon adventures. Even planning for next year when my boy is older to try some river kayaking.
