Sunday morning session in support of Troy Mayers as he gets ready for his upcoming North channel crossing.
The King and Queen of the Cold was held at Old Ed's pool, and two JAWS- Jo'burg All Water Swimmers OG'S + a trainee baby dolphin from Swimfast Winter Squad 2026, managed 8kms in 12.6°, collectively.
Smiles all round, even with frozen faces!!

What a gorgeous day to swim!
The dam is relatively clear of the hyacinth and with not a breath of wind, we managed to clock up a few kms in 14° water.

Now its time to warm up with hot coffee and breakfast, overlooking the water.

Life is tough in Africa..
