Join the Saturday Ride Challenge Open Day on July 25th, 2026, at Virgin Active K90, for a meaningful cause in support of the Casa Caritas Home for Physically and Mentally Handicapped Persons.
Ride Details:
🗓️Date: Saturday, July 25th, 2026
⏱️Time: Class schedule includes six 1-hour slots from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
📍Location: Virgin Active K90
🚴🏻Simulated Ride: A legendary 13.8 km Alpe d'Huez climb in the French Alps.
🚏Route Stats: 1125 m elevation gain, 8.1% average gradient (14% max), 21 bends, starting altitude of 725 m, and a finishing altitude of 1860 m.
👨🏫Ride Instructor: Willem Weideman Sweetspot
💵Cost: R50 entry (includes a chance to win a mountain bike sponsored by Cycle Lab).
Charity Element: Please bring any donations of food, blankets, nappies, toiletries, clothes, or toys to the Challenge Ride Day. Non-members, please bring your ID.

Casa Caritas is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for and rendering compassionate service to mentally and physically impaired individuals who cannot be trained or educated. The home has been providing this service to the community since 1973.
