RE: Amateur Rugby

Compliments of the season to you all!
Recent discussions with SARU have indicated that Club rugby may be able to resume in June/July 2021.
Once we have received the green light that amateur rugby may resume practice, we will communicate
this information through to you.
This is obviously a blow for many Clubs, but in light of the risks associated with the mass return to
training and play it is the most sensible decision.
Current legislation means that no Club may resume practice in any form. Please ensure that you adhere
to the lockdown regulations so that all Clubs do not have to pay the price for some Clubs breaking the
law.
With all these precautions, however, we are optimistic that it will pay off in the long run and we look
forward to Club Rugby resuming in the near future!
