A Cruel Day of Football. .

Yesterday was a reminder that football can humble you very quickly.

We arrived knowing exactly what was at stake: 6 points. The instructions were clear. The opportunity was there. But once the whistle went, it was almost as if the message had never reached the pitch.

After a four-match winning streak, we suddenly looked disconnected. Passes missed their targets, decisions in the final third let us down, and the sharpness that had carried us through the previous games was nowhere to be found.

Two quick goals put us behind. We fought back in the second half and pulled one back, but it wasn't enough. 2–1 defeat.

Then came the second game.

Still not our best football. Still not the performance we know we're capable of. But this time, we found a way.

2–0. Three points.

Six points were on the table. We walked away with three.

Disappointing? Absolutely.

Over? Absolutely not.

Sometimes football doesn't give you what you deserve. Sometimes it gives you a lesson instead.

And yesterday's lesson was loud.

Back to work. Back to the drawing board. The Predators are still hunting. 🦁🖤❤️

That was the year our U17 Predators conquered the league without losing a single match. 🏆🔥

It has seen young boys grow into footballers.

It has seen our identity evolve.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we are looking ahead — and we are humbly putting out a call to businesses, brands, sportswear companies and individuals who believe in grassroots football:
