Win - Club100 SLW at Buckmore Park!
Practice
I had a great session showing solid pace in my group with a slowly drying track finishing the session in P2
Qualifying
I went by myself on a mostly dry track and came P3 in group which put me P7 for the pre A final. My best qualifying of the year so far!
Pre-A final
I got off to a great start on the inside and got past 2 people on the first corner putting me up to P5. I created a gap behind me and pushed forward working with the driver in front and being only 0.074 off of the lap record. This great pace cemented my position of P5 for the A final.
A final
I got off to a great start coming out of turn 1 in P1, Up 4 positions in 1 corner! For the first lap I worked with the drivers in 2nd and 3rd to build a nice gap behind. On the second lap P2 went for the move and he went to P1 however he had picked up a penalty on the first lap meaning I was in the lead of the race, so I followed him and we pulled a significant margin to the rest of the field.
Even though the track was getting much colder and difficult through the last few laps, I managed to keep the kart on the track and bring home the win!
