INDODA EMFISHANE 🐘

There’s a young bull moving through the Munyawana that you need to know about.
Indoda Emfishane — “the short man” in Zulu.
He comes out of Tembe Elephant Park — one of the last strongholds of ancient elephant bloodlines in South Africa. Wild, untouched, and as pure as it gets.

Brought into the Munyawana a few years ago as part of a rewilding effort, his role is bigger than just presence — it’s about restoring genetics and carrying forward the tusker lineage this region was once known for.

Still young, but already pushing serious ivory.
His right tusk is broken — adding edge, character… something a little unpredictable.
He’s not just another bull passing through.
He’s a young king in the making.
A true Zululand elephant.
Thoroughbred. Wild.

If you’re out on the reserve — keep your eyes open.
Because when you see him, you’ll know exactly why he matters.
