Simphiwe Ngwenya 🔥🔥🔥 Proudly KZN 🎾🖤

South African junior Simphiwe Ngwenya has been named as part of Team South Africa’s Davis Cup squad for the World Group II Play-off against Montenegro 🇲🇪.

The talented youngster had a standout 2025 season, claiming the Boys Under-18 title at the 2025 Junior Masters, cementing his status as one of SA’s top junior players.

Four KZN stars are officially wearing the green and gold! 💚💛🎾

Rhys Vorwerk (Westville Boys High School) and Lindokuhle Gcwensa (Westville Boys High School) have been selected for the U19 Boys SA Schools Team, Nicholas Ullyett (Westville Boys High School) for the U15 Boys SA Team, and Sofia Kamalie (Star College) for the U19 Girls SA Team.

Congratulations to all four players — we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🇿🇦

Day 2 of IPT2026 had it all! Bloemfontein delivered sunshine and pool time between matches, while in Tshwane the rain delays pushed players indoors and kept everyone on their toes.

Huge congratulations to our U13A, U15A and U19A teams who have fought their way into the quarter finals! We are excited for what tomorrow will bring.

After a long bus ride packed with laughs, snacks, music and great team vibes, the KZN Schools teams have safely arrived in Bloemfontein and Tshwane for the Tennis South Africa Schools week Inter-Provincial Tournament.

The day wrapped up with an altitude acclimatisation session to loosen up the legs and prepare for match play. Tournament action kicks off tomorrow morning and the excitement is real!

Waylon brings energy and a strong sense of tennis family from Ballito, while Jordache uplifts and shapes young stars across the KZN Midlands. Wayne adds seasoned leadership with over 25 years at the top level, Tanya leads with heart while guiding the next generation, Moeketsi delivers a holistic, results-driven approach from Pietermaritzburg, and Mike completes the team as a dedicated mentor and motivator at Amanzimtoti Tennis Club.
