After years of hosting epic training sessions, corporate events, and countless off-road memories under the name Clifton Canyon 4x4 Track, we’ve made the decision to rebrand and realign our mission. Welcome to the Travis Duggan 4x4 Training Facility — a dedicated private training ground based in Hillcres

t, KwaZulu-Natal, built exclusively for purpose-driven 4x4 driver training, recovery education, and real-world off-road skills development. This is not a public trail. It’s a controlled training environment where drivers, dealerships, conservation teams, and corporate clients come to learn, push boundaries, and build confidence behind the wheel. From steep climbs and technical descents to recovery pits and deep water crossings — our facility challenges both driver and machine, guided by my decades of field experience and passion for safe, responsible off-roading. Whether you’re a first-timer, an overlander, or an OEM looking to upskill your clients or staff — I look forward to sharing this space with you.

🇿🇦 Today we welcome Land Rover Hillcrest and the Land Rover Experience Team to the Travis Duggan 4x4 Training Facility as they put the vehicles through their paces on our purpose-built 4x4 Track.

It’s always a privilege to have leading automotive brands making use of our facility for ride-and-drive experiences, showcasing their vehicles in the environment they were designed for.

Last night we hosted an epic Night Drive Event at the Travis Duggan 4x4 Training Facility.

Almost 20 4x4 vehicles took on the challenge, braving muddy, slippery and technical conditions after close to 40mm of rain overnight and throughout the morning.

Driving in the dark under spotlights added a whole new level of difficulty — and the standard of driving was outstanding. Some incredible skill, control and confidence on display from a group of very capable 4x4 drivers.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event. Your energy and enthusiasm are what make these nights so special 🇿🇦
