Hillcrest Fencing Club The sport of Fencing in Hillcrest with training on Tuesday and Thursdays at Highbury school. The Hillcrest Fencing Club is KZN's leading fencing club.

Email: [email protected] Established in early 2013, the club has consistently produced good results in local competitions, and is improving in national competitions - both in number of participants and national ranking positions. We have 2 members receive South African colours since inception. We currently have several members ranked in the top 10

of the South African rankings in different weapons, and we are very proud of their efforts. Having said that, we also have many members who participate purely for the love of the sport, and use this as an excellent physical and mental workout. Training nights at Hillcrest are Tuesday and Thursday with an average of 15+ members attending each session. Training is offered in the form of group or individual lessons, followed by bouting. This is all provided as part of your very reasonable club fees. Beginners are always welcome, and we offer a "try before you buy" type intro. Fencing is a sport for males and females both young and old. We encourage family participation. Come and join us, we look forward to meeting you! It was Olympics Day at Little Red Hen pre primary school in Winston Park today. Hillcrest Fencing Club was delighted to join in with the celebrations. 4 teachers were given a crash course on fencing, and then fenced each other, much to the delight of the pupils who cheered them on.
