We have ended this year off with a bang!! 🎉
Couch to 10 participants met today for prize giving and a great send off - they were grouped with regular runners to meet and greet and were sent on an Amazing Race around Hillcrest.

Much laughter and fun was had before heading back to the club for a well earned coffee and a warm fire!

A big thank you to Tristan from Run Collective for being one of our stops on the race and making it so much fun at the shop. 🥳

New friendships formed and new runners on the road! This is why we do this. ❤️ Congrats to everyone!

2025 Couch to 10 ran their 10km graduation race this morning at Forest Hills Athletic Club - and what a race it was! Freezing cold is an understatement as we lined up on the start line.
Everyone ran so strong and there were amazing results at the end with everyone so happy with their times.

Thank you Forest for an amazing event! (As usual) 🥳

Congrats to our first couchie in Kristin McLean who ran an average pace of 5.44 and finished in just under 58mins AMAZING!

You guys have been amazing!! A huge congratulations from us to you for putting the effort in and showing up for YOU! 🏆💪🏽❤️

Couch to 10 gathered for thier peak training event this morning with an 8km run from The Pot & Kettle to the Comrades wall and Arthur’s Seat. We all took off in less than great weather conditions but soon warmed up and enjoyed the drizzle.
At 4kms our awesome team was waiting with a water table for refreshments and a flower for Arthur’s greeting.
We ended off back at the Pot and Kettle for a much deserveded hot cappucino and delicious muffin .
Well done to all of those who came out! We are seeing such progress and can’t wait for the big race on the 27th!

This morning Couch to 10 was hosted by ONE Sports and Wellness - an excellent intro to the importance of stretching, some warm up exercises and stretching classes after our 6.5km run through pretty Winston Park.
We had a brilliant turn out and were joined by the Nils to Hills peeps from Forest Hills Athletic Club which made the event even more social and fun! Thanks everyone for coming out and to Tristan and Justin for having us! 🧡💪🏽🏆🥇🥇🥇

We had an amazing morning at Run Collective Hillcrest! Couch to 10 reached 6kms, with great advice on running shoes, treadmill assessments, lucky draw prizes and a fabulous get together. The guys at Run Collective know their stuff!

Couch to 10 2025 has reached halfway and Couch to 5 completed today! We took on the 5km race at the Chillie Lifestyle 10km event and what an amazing morning out. All our runners smashed it with many PBs and smiles all around at their achievements. Strava it alight with so many PBs! 🥇🥇🥇

The Couch to 10 team are so stoked to see everyone doing so well!

A special mention to our little Abigail Herselman who placed 18th overall in the 5km in an amazing time of 26:42 🥳 and Kelly Burton who smashed it - running a 5.51 pace per km and placed 23rd overall in a time of 29.15
