Local strongman legend and contest organiser, Johan Kruger managed to pull an impressive 170kg on the Axle Bar Deadlift. That secured the 1st place for Johan in that event.

THE SUZUKI STRONGMAN SHOW:
5 Teams competed.
3 of those teams were from Proactive Fitness.

The crowd support was fantastic, and they fully appreciated the massive efforts from the lifters.

Precious surprised everyone with his grip strength and he finished second. In total there were 4 events.
After a grueling day's lifting, David Dayson and Johan Kruger finished in third place.
The winning team was Juandre Viviers and Zephan Potgieter.

Congratulations and thanks to Johan for not only hosting but also for always participating in this annual Strongman event, and well done to all the other men who entered and excelled at this year’s event.

GOOD NEWS: 300 SQUARE METERS OF BRAND NEW ALPHASTATE MATS @ PROACTIVE FITNESS!

Please note that our flooring supply team will be laying our new high density mats this coming Thursday & Friday.

As you can imagine the installation strategy will be a tricky one to coordinate safely & effectively as we need to literally move each & every one of our many heavy pieces of exercise kit in stages throughout the course of these 2 days but I assure you that we will do our very best to minimise the disruption to your day.

Please be patient with me & our installation team as we tackle this project together & I guarantee that we will all be proud of our new Alphastate flooring.
