⨠Meet the Team: Victoria Kay â¨
We are so proud to introduce our incredible dance instructor and coach, Victoria Kay.
Victoriaâs journey in dance began at just two and a half years old, growing up in her momâs dance studio in Australia. Surrounded by passion and dedication, she naturally stepped into teaching, leading classes across a variety of styles from a young age.
During her later schooling years, Victoria was accepted into Queensland Dance School of Excellence, where she trained intensively in ballet, repertoire, pas de deux, pointe, Pilates, contemporary, jazz and tap while completing her academic studies in the afternoons. Her commitment and talent opened the door to an extraordinary opportunityâshe successfully auditioned for the in Paris, where she went on to become a principal dancer for five years.
During this time, Victoria was also selected as the face of the Moulin Rouge and MakeUp Forever, traveling the world, working on two films, and even appearing as a judge on MasterChef. An incredible achievement and truly unique experience.
After returning home, Victoria completed her RAD professional Dancersâ Postgraduate Teaching Certificate and transitioned into teaching. She first joined Grip as a helping hand with concert choreography but quickly became one of our most valued team members.
Victoria threw herself into coaching gymnastics while also introducing dance into our gym. Working closely alongside our team, she immersed herself in learning the technique and discipline of acrobatic gymnastics. She has also received her GL certification in coaching.
Today, she is an integral part of our gym. We are so grateful for the knowledge, experience, and passion she brings. Victoria has helped create a pathway for many of our students to pursue a future in dance and performance, and we cannot wait to see what they achieve.
We are incredibly lucky to have you, Victoria đ
