This past weekend marked a full circle moment for the hardwork and dedication of the development of Baseball in the Free State.

Ntateleng Primary School was voted School Team of The Year at the Free State Sports Awards this past Saturday.

This school and team have been part of the FSBU family since our inception five years ago. In 2021 majority of their players represented our province at the NBC in the Western Cape with two of their players advancing to the national development squads. In 2026 they are growing stronger than before and are still producing future baseball stars.

We would like to thank the school principal and coaches for their utmost dedication and sacrifices in ensuring the young stars are always giving their best to our sport. Not to forget our future stars, we hope this will inspire them to work harder and aim higher.

This is an inspiring and motivating story that shows baseball is here to grow and stay in the Free State.

As the FSBU we have been granted the opportunity to hosting the first ever SABU Development & Transformation week for U12 players across the country! In order to make this historic event a success we need stakeholders from all walks of life to give a helping through donations.

Sponsorship will go towards food, accomodation and preparation of the playing fields for the program!
